The first time I photographed the Kimmerling family, Jameson was a tiny newborn! And I was 38 weeks pregnant! Jameson and my James are only two weeks apart and it’s been so fun to get together for play dates (more like brunch and time for Lauren and I to catch up!). It was so fun to photograph Lauren, Adam and their sweet Jameson this fall for their mini session. We love them! VIEW POST
Emily and Charles – Orlando Photography
These pictures make me so happy! Emily is David’s younger sister and she’s married to Charles. They celebrated their first anniversary in December! They live in Chicago and were home in November for Thanksgiving. We love having them home!! James is obsessed with both of them, probably because they are so good with babies! It was such a treat to snap some updated pictures of them for their first anniversary. They are the cutest couple!! Make sure to scroll to the bottom to see them as Auntie Em and Uncle Charles!
Julie and Chandler – Orlando Engagement
I am so excited for my beautiful friend Julie and her soon-to-be husband, Chandler! They are getting married in April and I can’t wait to see this lady as a BRIDE! Julie was one of my best friends in high school and it’s been so wonderful to grow into adulthood and go through new experiences together. She is so talented, crafty, and is so funny! I met up with these two engaged cuties when we were all in Orlando around Thanksgiving for a little engagement session. Despite the humid and overcast weather, we had a great time and these two couldn’t stop laughing together!
Taylor Family – Westchase Tampa Photography
If you have been to Westtown Church near Westchase, you might recognize this beautiful family. It was such a treat for me to photograph the Taylors! Pastor Frank and his wife Lou are parents to four very sweet kids. It was so encouraging to spend time with this family because they are all so supportive and deeply love each other. Their smiles and laughter warmed my heart so much! I’m hoping that Frank and Lou will write a parenting book someday. 😉 If you’re interested in checking out Westtown Church, let me know! I’d be happy to save you a seat.
Charlotte – Safety Harbor Newborn Photography
Oh my goodness, I’m so excited to share precious Charlotte’s newborn photos! She was born on December 12th and her sweet parents are IN LOVE with her. I totally understand why!! I think I said “she is perfect!!” a dozen times during her session. It’s been such a treat to watch Kristin and Kevin get married almost two years ago and now become parents. I’m so happy for their growing family! Charlotte had great props for her newborn session, including a Tampa Bay Rays headband and a Snoopy Christmas stocking. So sweet! And her nursery has the perfect Florida, sea life theme. I love it!
Behind the Scenes in 2017
It’s that time of year! One of my favorite blog posts – our annual Behind the Scenes photos! In 2017, we photographed a handful of weddings, multiple growing belly bumps, precious newborns and over 30 mini family sessions in the Fall AND David and I became Mom and Dad when we welcomed our sweet son this summer! It’s been a wonderful year for our family and for my business. We are so thankful and looking forward to all that 2018 will bring!
Here’s a look back at our behind the scenes posts in 2016 and 2015 and 2014 and 2013!
So fun to look through them and relive so many special events!

Baby’s First Christmas
Ok, it’s official… Christmas with a baby is so much fun!! It’s been so sweet to experience the holiday season through the eyes of our little man, James. He’s almost six months now and loves to stare at Christmas lights, reach for the tree, and play with plastic ornaments. I grabbed my camera and put on his precious Santa footies to capture some first Christmas photos! We hope you have a very merry Christmas and a joyful 2018!!

Jen and CJ – Lake Mary Events Center Orlando Wedding
CJ and Jen became Mr. and Mrs. Tihoni on Saturday at the beautiful Lake Mary Events Center, one of my favorite Central Florida venues! Their entire day was so calm, joyful, and full of love!! Jen had the biggest smile on her face all day and CJ beamed with love for his gorgeous bride. One of my absolute favorite moments was during their ceremony, when CJ surprised Jen by reading his own vows, instead of the traditional ones. He talked about when he first saw her on the jungle gym in the first grade!! These two have grown up together and built a strong friendship that will take them far in their marriage. Their wedding day was put on by an amazing team of vendors. It was seriously a dream team! I’m so excited to share CJ and Jen’s special day with you all!

Saanvi – Tampa Newborn Photography
Meet Saanvi, one of Tampa’s newest little citizens! I am obsessed with her head full of hair! Saanvi’s parents requested some posed photos of her wrapped up in this blanket because it was the same exact blanket that her Dad came home from the hospital in when he was a newborn. So sweet! I love when families incorporate special mementos in their session. Little Saanvi, you are dearly loved and your family is overjoyed that you are here!
Maria and Clay – Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, Tampa Wedding
Are you ready for a story about how these two put together a GORGEOUS wedding in less than 24 hours?? Maria and Clay got engaged over the summer and had been planning an intimate, destination wedding in Italy for just the two of them in November. Maria bought a Monique Lhuillier dress from The Collection Bridal in Winter Park and sparkly Badgley Mischka heels, Clay picked out a handsome suit, they got all the details in order, and it was finally time to pack their bags for their big trip. On the way to the airport on Thursday, they got a call about a family emergency and had to immediately cancel their flights. They turned their car around and headed back home to be with their family. Fortunately, everything with their family turned out ok and even though they weren’t in Italy, they were still together. They decided that they still wanted to get married on Saturday. Maria and Clay started texting and calling people to try to arrange a ceremony for the next day. When Maria texted me and shared their story, my heart broke for them and I was so eager to help! I taught Kindergarten with Maria last school year and I knew that she deserved the wedding of her dreams. She is the sweetest!! When I arrived at the Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, I was so impressed with Maria and Jenna, the thoughtful on-site coordinators, who made sure everything was perfect for the ceremony. Maria transformed into a beautiful bride with the help of the on-site hair and makeup artist and carried a white rose bouquet crafted by a florist near her mom’s house. After searching online, they found a wonderful officiant to perform their ceremony. The details of their impromptu wedding came together quickly. These newlyweds may not have gotten married on the Almafi Coast but they did become husband and wife in the town that Maria grew up and in a private ceremony with just the two of them. It was perfect. I’m so honored to have photographed this special event and to have witnessed their wedding! So excited for you two and all that’s to come!!VIEW POST
