Say hello to the Haydel family! We have been friends with sweet Ondrea and Luke for a while and have been in a community group together for the past few years. So thankful that we connected through Westtown Church! It’s been so fun to watch their family grow over the years, especially big brother Mac and little Della! We recently got together in Westchase for updated family photos and to document the birthday kids, both August babies! And we included Ondrea’s beautiful mom, loved including Grandma in these photos!

Megan and Sophie 2 – Tampa Family Photographer
This was my third time photographing Megan and her sweet daughter, Sophie, and I have to say that they are so fun every time!! We did Sophie’s one year mommy & me photos at Armature Works last year and I absolutely loved shooting in that setting. Such a cool place! When Megan mentioned her idea of photos in the Costco parking lot for Sophie’s 2nd birthday to get some “2020 pandemic fun shots”, I was so ready for the challenge! I never thought I would have a session in the Costco parking lot. Ha!! Megan has such a fun personality and I know she’ll show these photos to her daughter when she’s older and talk about how Costco was one of the few places they went for a few months and the craze of finding toilet paper while the world was locking down. 2020, such a wild time to turn two!
Brody – Tampa Newborn Photography
Welcome to the world, baby Brody! I loved photographing my friend Macy and her beautiful family recently to capture their brand new addition. Little Brody was so calm and peaceful during his photos. He was the perfect baby model!
We documented their pregnancy journey with their gender reveal in December and then a lifestyle mini maternity session in their gorgeous home and finally, these precious newborn photos. So thankful to know this sweet family and to journey through motherhood with Macy! If you love home inspiration and DIY projects, follow Macy on her instagram account – Simple Sweet Almost Complete

Claire – 6 Months
Happy half birthday to my baby girl! I blinked and somehow Claire is already 6 months old. She has been the sweetest distraction during the Covid pandemic and has filled our days with so much joy. She is growing so much and I’m so relieved that she is a healthy and happy baby. She loves to watch big brother James, she started solids recently and is already a fan of food, her sleep is predictable, she loves the bath, and as you can see by these pictures, she knows how to work the camera! Six months is such a fun age!! I took over 200 photos of Claire during these 6 month portraits because she kept smiling and just being adorable. Here are a few of my favorites! Also, scroll down for our weekly chalkboard milestone pictures and a few iPhone photos from the past six months. I just love her!! VIEW POST
Breanne and Michael – Tampa Pregnancy Announcement
Ahh congratulations to this beautiful couple!! Breanne and Michael will become Mom and Dad early next year! I loved meeting them at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor for their pregnancy announcement photos, especially since they brought along their adorable doggy for a few photos. So excited for you guys!! Scroll down to see the perfect onesie they included in their photos!
Macy – Tampa Maternity Photography
I’m so excited to share this in-home lifestyle maternity session of my friend Macy and her son, Luke! This was actually a spontaneous, spur of the moment session. James and I were getting ready to head to Macy’s house for a play date when I had the idea of bringing my camera along. I envisioned capturing Macy and her sweet first born doing life in their home before baby brother joined the family. Moments like playing in the living room, cuddling on the couch, and making a snack together. Macy was 38 weeks pregnant in these photos and so ready to meet her baby but also wanted to soak up the last few precious days of just her and Luke. Her baby made his arrival recently and I can’t wait to share his newborn photos on the blog soon!
Isn’t Macy’s house gorgeous? I love how bright and airy it is and all the neutral tones! She shares her home decor and DIY projects on her instagram account Simple Sweet Almost Complete. Definitely give her a follow for simple and sweet home projects!
Emily – Tampa Family Photographer
Six months is such a fun age to capture! I had such a great morning photographing my friend Rachel and her sweet family at Philippe Park to document baby Emily’s six month milestone photos. She is such a doll!! I love that we got some precious mother, daughter photos in the Wildbird sling. Look how cozy and content Emily is all snuggled up next to mama. Love it!!
Rachel is super talented and makes homemade baby products, including bows and stuffed animals. Check out more of her creations on her Instagram: LoveStitchCo
Peter – Tampa Family Photographer
Baby Peter is so adorable and getting so big! I first photographed this sweet family for Peter’s newborn session in November and we got together again recently for six month milestone photos! I just love this beautiful family, especially Peter’s sweet mama, my friend Michelle. I am so grateful to know her and journey through motherhood together! Enjoy these photos of Peter’s 6 month milestone session at Philippe Park in Safety Harbor.VIEW POST
My favorite newborn products
My sweet baby Claire will be four months in just a few days. I feel like she was just born but also like she’s always been part of our family. I’m so glad she’s ours! Now that she’s out of the newborn stage and I’ve had some time to reflect on the past few months, I wanted to share a list of my favorite newborn products. I hope this list is helpful for new parents as you make your baby registry and finish setting up your nursery. I remember how overwhelmed I felt while researching ALL the baby items. There is so. much. stuff. out there marketed towards new parents. My best advice would be to remember that your baby needs just a few basics, everything else is just extra. Although the extra stuff definitely helps. 🙂 Here’s a list of my favorite newborn products that I would definitely recommend to any new parent.
